Hi it’s Andrea, thanks so much for the encouraging comment David! We made it safely to Bundaberg, QLD on the 10th of October, after battling windless days, an intense lightning storm and last-passage restlessness…sometimes it’s still hard to believe we actually made it! After diving for black pearls in French Polynesia, dancing at full moon parties & exploring underwater caves in Tonga & balancing on the edge of an active volcano in Vanuatu, the voyage was definitely worth the seasickness & odd moments of extreeeme cabin fever to navigate the world’s largest ocean :)To all who are contemplating something similar: go for it! We only live once and there’s an incredible world out there :)
