Hi,
In the beginning of August I intend to moor in Den Helder (Netherlands) and then sail to
Amsterdam with 16 m long yacht (17 m mast, 2,5 m draft). I am looking for the mast-up route
by way of Alkmaar. Could you be so kind and tell me if there will be possible to do it and
which way should I take.

we've consulted a brochure we picked up (although in Dutch) and it states that the average depth of the standing mast route canals is 2.5m so you may experience some problems.  also being such a large boat, you might have problems getting under some of the bridges at locks (we managed just to scrap through a couple with cm's to spare.
