Arrived in La Coruna on wednesday 8th August. We are staying in Marina Coruna. Lovely surroundings and friendly people. The children are making friends and we are too!

We have been to the market today. Buying lots of lovely fresh fruit and veg. The bakery was an experience-so much choice and you pay by the kilo.

We plan to sail along the coast later on today. Visiting Laxe and finding an anchorage.

  We said goodbye to Kemps Quay at 2015 last night and arrived at Newtown at 0030 after a long beat up the river in 24 kts of wind. We plan to stay here until the weather calms with a little bit of south/north east winds.

No work today!!!

We plan to walk to Shalfleet to post some mail.

We have had carpe Diem up in the yard for a long weekend, sanding, painting her and changing anodes etc. The lovely surroundings of the Beaulie River and lots of kind friends and family visiting have made it a special time!  Unfortunitly we had to return to southampton to collect a legal document that we have been waiting for. The maritime coastal agency are running very behind in delivering the reregistration of the yacht. We can’t travel abraod without this form!!

Well, its finally turned up in the post today!!!  Hipp Hipp Horray!!! We can finally say goodbye to southampton!!

We are all so excited about our adventure!!

A massive thank you to all those lovely people that have been so kind and generous to us. We have been very blessed!!!
