The sun was shining, the water crystal clear and not a breath of wind –a nice start to Jonny and Laura’s holiday.  We left the pontoon around 11 o’clock and motored towards Castle Island and got the cruising chute out but not making much progress, we had to motor the rest of the way.  Last time we were here it was crowded with gulets and day tripper boats but there was only one yacht at anchor and a couple of tripper boats.  We anchored and went for a swim and later moved the boat near to the ancient breakwater where Brian took a stern line to a rock.  The water here is crystal clear and very peaceful surroundings.  We had a BBQ in the evening and played Canasta with Jonny and Laura – the men won so game on !!
