Nigel left the marina at lunch time heading over to Turkey and then making his way to Northern Greece, we will meet up with him again in September when we return to Marmaris.
The marina serves the local people with a ‘keep fit walking track’ as by 6 p.m. every night, it is full of people walking around the perimeter in their trainers doing the circuit two or three times.
Tomorrow is forecast for more strong southerly winds and there is a lot of rain forecast for Friday but we plan to leave on Friday for the anchorage at the bottom of the island.
