Hi Secret Smile

just found your blog – the boat looks lovely.

We CopperCoated 18 months ago and are really pleased with the results. We are in Turkey – so the water is warm – but even so just a bit of slim that wipes off with a sponge.

Good Luck

Hi Silver Lady,

thanks for the vote of confidence (after blasting sanding and then struggling with the last inch of anti-foul we were beginning to wonder if it is all worth it)

We now have completed 4 coats of epoxy and a coat of primer. Now letting that cure and looking for a dry couple of days for our coats of coppercoat!!!!

We are beginning to believe our dream is coming true and looking forward to the off. We havwe decided to sail out with the clipper race through the needles on 31 July (seemed like a special start to our new lifestyle.)

Hope to see you sometime on our travels!!!
