Paula and Trevor arrived at the marina around 5.30 p.m. on Sunday, and after unpacking it was off to ‘happy hour’ and a nice meal in the restaurant. The next day we took them for a walk up the mountain to show them the fantastic views over Marmaris Bay, however unfortunately a stray dog bit Trevor on the leg so after a vist to the marina nurse to clean and dress the wound, a doctor took him to the State Hospital for anti-rabies injection. After paying 100 TL first, he went to the Infectious Diseases doctor who administered the injection and was told he had to return on Thursday for another injection and then have a further 3 injections back in the UK. We went to Icemeler on the taxi boat midweek and hired a car for three days which took us to Datca, Orhaniye, Semilye, Bozburun to the west and Dalayan and Gocek to the east. We had a great week with them and had a few games of canasta, Paula and I winning overall.
