‘Morne Fortune’ moved into a space opposite us on Foxtrot pontoon as it became available. They told us of their experience yesterday in Simi harbor when they suffered a little damage to their boat as a wave came in and rocked the boats violently causing masts to hit each other. Morne Fortune had damage to their stern stanchion on the first wave from a tripper boat entering the harbor too fast and on a second wave caused by the bowthruster of a ferry entering the harbor, their radar reflector and wind indicator was damaged. They left the harbor at 2.30 p.m. yesterday and arrived here in the marina in the dark and berthed on Bravo pontoon along with ‘Sabine’.
