From the Argolic to the Saronic, Sept 2010

Sunrise she come in the morning

October 03, 2010

Ok we are getting to the end of the trip, and Martin is in a new harbour, so there is no time to lose and I’m up early to greet the sunrise.

The rising sun was bright red but I still haven’t worked out how to get the new camera to show it correctly.

As I went along the shore line I found some very industrious ants (compare the size of the nest with the two euro coin!)

Coming back I saw someone picking fruits off a cactus, and when I got back to the boat someone getting ready for some serious fishing with a spear gun!

Ok he was towing a buoy behind him, but it was some way behind him, and swimming underwater when there are boats moving around seems like a good way to get chopped by a prop.

The last two photos on this post are a demonstration of my “super zoom”, one is a view of the harbour and bay and if you look closely you can see Julian and Phil down on the shore.  The next photo is of Julian and Phil, but taken with the camera zoomed in, from exactly the same position!
