Deshaies – Guadeloupe – Les Saintes

On the 29 we left Deshaies to go to les Saintes, Terre de haut, a bay with lots of boat at anchor. The view is wonderful. It’s an amazing Island. The day after our arrival I took the time to walk all around the island and visit each beach, each bay, there are all beautiful and completely different from each other. Not to forget the airport! From the “fort Napoleon” you have a great view on the island, and the other island of Guadeloupe, I recommend the visit of the “Fort Napoleon” if you are going there, the guide was great and the walk up the hill is feasible for all. I had a great time in Les Saintes, snorkeling at “Pain de Sucre”, walking down the streets, meeting George and co and dancing on the main place under the stars for New Year Eve before watching the fireworks! I think I’ll come back here, Happy new year!
