Spoilt with friends

Sue Bate flew into Hobart on Monday and left again at the crack of dawn on Thursday. It was wonderful having time with her and hearing all the news of friends back home in Durban. As usual all too short but if she had stayed any longer I think both of us would have lost our voices! We drove her down to Dover on Tuesday to try and share some of Tasmania’s beauty with her and had a picnic lunch of smoked salmon and champagne en route.
We need more of you to visit us! The days are warming up tho when we drove Sue to the top of Mt Wellington yesterday there were still faint traces of snow on the mountain. All the fruit trees are in bloom and the spring bulbs are showing their lovely colours.
