Ornos at anchor

We had a reasonable nights rest swinging on the anchor in Ornos Bay, but today decided to move to a cove on the west side of the bay and take a line ashore in what is probably the most sheltered anchorage in Mykonos (we hope!).
There is a line of luxury yachts tied up beside us so should be some partying later.





Dinghied into Ornos town and found it excellent for supplies and even found a water tap to fill up our Jerry cans- it seems water is hard to come by in these parts (already missing some things about Turkey). Asked what time the restaurant on the beach closed for dinner and was told about 4.00 am- welcome to Mykonos!!!
We’ve got everything we want here (even wifi from the restaurant we went to last night) so will use this as a base for our visitors over the next few weeks. It’s only 3 km to the airport.
