Agreed to meet Francois at 10..30 a.m. in the marina for the steelwork to be fitted and a template made for the bimini. After fuelling up, we met Oliver and Thierry’s brother Patrick on the fuelling pontoon – what a coincidence was that! He told us that Oliver had mentioned us to him and would let him know that he had seen us. It was then off to Chateau Bragancon for some rose wine.
Once anchored in the clear turquoise water we went ashore and walked towards the house on the beach where we met Madame Tezanas and arranged to go to the chateau to taste the wine. Chris and Lois came ashore in their dinghy and Madame Tezanas drove me, Lois and James and Oliver up to the chateau in her car whilst Brian and Chris walked. We passed huge rows of canes which they sell to use in the manufacture of musical instruments. On arrival at the Chateau we met Monsieur Tezanas who took us to his shop where we tasted different rose, white and red wines. We bought a case of rose wine and Monsieur Tezanas drove James and Oliver and me back to the beach house in his 4×4 truck whilst Brian, Chris and Lois walked back. Unfortunately, we were not shown around the chateau or vineyard.
Once back on the boat, we decided to motor across to anchor in La Capte for the evening.

Hello Carole and Brian,
I hope that all go well for you.
I consider it regrettable that one did not see oneself in Hyères, but it is incredible which you met Patrick!
To Leger Saint, the boat goes well, I will have 1 week of vacancy and I will pass it on the Saone.
So long.
