March 23, 2010

Had a really comfortable night after watching a DVD ‘Hurt Locker’.  We’d forgotten how soft and comfortable the memory foam mattress was.

Light rain today and colder but Brian managed to fit the bowsprit on Endeavour.

Thursday is a bank holiday in Greece, and apparently there is a parade and celebrations in Preveza.  The marina offices will be closed all day.

We decided to hire a car for tomorrow and Thursday as we need to do a big shop to stock up on heavy bottle items, rather than shop daily and we will be here until Monday when the boats are booked to go back in the water.

Hello from Silver Cloud. You certainly cracked on last year, unlike us who felt we rushed down to Lagos where we have spent the winter and ready to move on – probably not much further than the Baleares this year. Only trouble down here is that there isn’t the lovely mountainous backdrop and islands off Wales, but we hope it gets better as we move east. Happy sailing in 2010.
