Good anchorage last night and very beautiful surroundings. Morne Fortune left at 11 a.m. heading to Kavos to take Adam back to his mates. We arranged to meet up with Morne Fortune at Parga, 10 miles approximately south down the mainland coast.
We set off around midday arriving at Parga about 2.30 p.m. to a very busy bay filled with speedboats skiing and towing inflatable toys with kids screaming as they zoomed past.
We decided to anchor stern to the mole of rocks in the west corner of the bay, but the wind was blowing from all directions and forced us around before Brian could get a line to the rocks, fortunately an Italian guy in his dinghy helped us by pushing the stern of the boat around so that I could reverse towards the rocks. I found this very difficult but it was a first and a lesson well learnt.
