Thank you for your commentary on your trip. We just purchased a 1979 30 ft catalina docked at salt ponds marina in hampton and are beginning to explore the locations you have written about. We look forward to this experience and your insight has been valuable.

Greetings from New Orleans. Your food couldn’t be any better than we are having but I bet ours is more expensive. Breakfast at Brennans this morning was over $50 each!!!! But it’s only money. The wedding in the St Louis Cathedral yesterday was beautiful but we didn’t get to the reception because it was pouring rain and Gayle and I got soaked. We had dinner last night with Ulmer and Maryanne and are going on an hour carriage ride this evening. Elizabeth Miller Smith and her husband, Mike’s, sister will be going with us and some of the other relatives have ordered other carriages for, I think, the same tour of the French Quarter and the Ghost Tour (no walking for Gayle and me). We will leave here Wednesday for Montgomery and I will get home Thursday afternoon. Sounds like you are having a great but sometimes scary time. Just take care of yourselves!!! Luv, Bobin

Hi – Happy Anniversary, a little late. We passed through Annapolis on Sunday night. Mike said he saw the “Cool Breeze” down in the Chesapeake.. Ha Ha. We made it to Williamsburg and spent the night. Today, Tues, we walked around W’brg but it was HOT HOT HOT. We are home now and glad, temp outside is 81

Sounds like you have had some bad weather. We are in Binghamton, NY. Hope to see you on our return south.
