One minute Dad and I are slipping over wet, fla... » read more

Unter hefitgen heftiger Straßenmußik füllten Skippi und ich die Formulare aus und warteten. Als wir an der Reihe waren, teilte uns der "gestreßt... » read more

Tooling around the BVI aboard Martha R with some of my best buds for too short a time
May 01, 2009: Our trip is over but we still wake up at night and feel the ‘rocking boat’- Hope it lasts for weeks. I’ve had a recurring dream that we are lying against the walls of the pontoon and waiting for more wind – a pleasant thought for sure. The ten days weren’t long enough. I find my mind drifting back to the dark star lit nights of the new moon and the awesome ima... » read more

May 01, 2009: Woke early and tried to figure out how to make coffee. Lighting the stove proved to be a challenge but managed to figure it out and get the coffee perculating. After breakfast we ran to shore to dump trash and get some ice. Headed dead into a strong 20-25 kt wind with 4-5 ft seas. Johni rode the bow and loved it! We arrived at Kitchen Point and spent a few hours sn... » read more
