Established in 1847 it is the oldest private boating and sailing club on the Gulf Coast. The club house, located on Mobile Bay just north of the mouth of Dog River, offers a comfortable lounge and restaurant with a splendid view of the Bay. The harbor, located behind the club house, is in a well-protected bayou off Dog River.
