July 4 through July 20 trip aboard a Lagoon 420 (hybrid) through the US and British Virgin Islands.
May 01, 2009: Woke early and tried to figure out how to make coffee. Lighting the stove proved to be a challenge but managed to figure it out and get the coffee perculating. July 23, 2011: We arrived at the boat at 1am and while Christian readied her, Rudi and I took the car back (a story in itself). By 2:30 we were slipping the lines and on our way to leave port in the dead of night. Rudi took first shift, safely getting us out of port and into the big seas. We started from Hampton Va, USA Nov 2, 2009 and sailed to Nanny Cay, Tortola, BVI. From there we plan to sail to Puerto Rico and on to Panama to prepare for our Pacific crossing.
