I have started a new blog for the next leg of our travels “Florida to Panama 2009&rdqu... » read more

March 20, 2010: I will try once again to post our final blog for Cool Breeze Sails South. May 01, 2009: 7-09-08 We’re on the last leg of our journey. We had a nice dinner at Morgan Creek Grill with Bonnie, catching up and enjoying the company. We’ve promised to keep in touch and hope she and her husband will come to visit. Our last evening was quiet as for some strange reason all the boats were obeying the “No Wake” zone in front of the marina. ... » read more

We will sail from Charleston to Florida taking the Ocean route. After a brief stop in Florida we will cross to the Bahamas and spend several weeks exploring.
May 01, 2009: The weather forecasted 2 more cold fronts so we took another hop and came in to Green Turtle Cay. The sail was Fast and COLD. We had to avoid a shoal area off of Manjack Cay, but the sail was a good one.We are in the Marina on the northern end of the island in Black Sound. The facilities are nice. The Dive shop rents bicycles which allowed us to ride into the village in New Plymouth. The ... » read more
