This marina looked and sounded good, but as soon as we got there, we knew we had made a mistake. The marina good points are it is close enough to town you can walk there and shop (but the Port of Friday Harbor is even closer)and only the north facing slips are easy to get into, but the staff is THEWORST. No one will help you and the current runs at 1-3 knots thru the marina, no breakwater, so not only did we get hit, but a great big log put a big gouge in our topsides in the middle of the night. There are LOTS of flights of stairs to get up onto the road, so its not a convenient place to get anything to/from the boat. This is a very old marina, and has seen better days. There are lots of empty slips and no one stays long (surprise!) We anchored at Parks Bay, great holding and loved it!
