Norfolk to Yorktown
Planning for a three day three night trip up to Yorktown and back.
May 01, 2009: After a quick stop at Old Point Comfort Marina (The Army’s MWR marina) to pump-out and get gas, we anchored in Willoughby Bay for dinner: some of Laura’s Famous Chicken Pie. Heading South!
Start from Annapolis(via New York)and head south on the ICW, making our way across the the Bahamas first, then explore the Caribbean for the next few years!
May 01, 2009: Wow; it has been awhile since we’ve posted anything! We are now sitting in Sousa in the Dominician Republic, on our way across to Puerto Rico. We would have stayed longer at Louperon, but thought we would take advantage of a good weather window and start our passage east. We are Blessed!
Our sailing journey begins.....
November 23, 2010: Today, we had “mandatory fun day” at our office and took the team sailing. It was quite a day and the first time we had guest out sailing. We arrived at the slip at 9:30 am and met some of the crew that arrived from Virginia. In all, there were 6 of us, 4 men and 2 women.
