Reviews of MacKaye Harbor Public Dock

Stretch your legs?

This is more like a kayak launch or a dinghy dock, but its the only place to LEGALLY get ashore in this whole bay.

The straights feed this place with a slight swell even on a good day, so its not exactly the most mellow anchorage, but after a crossing it can be a welcome stop.

This public dock is sort of hard to see unless you’re really looking closely on the north side of the bay.  About a 15 minute walk to the south end store on Lopez for provisions.
