Each Seawind spends 2 weeks at each station, before being moved onto the next. May 23, 2008: Here are some photos of Sirocco before she was assembled. She arrived from Bremerhaven, Germany onboard a vehicle carrier called the ‘Pearl Ace’ – a journey which took about 12 weeks. I must admit I did not see her arrival as we were in Europe at the time, but when I first saw her, she was already masted and instrumented. I’ve marked Bremerhaven on the map. » read more
