Jacksonville-Ft.Lauderdale-Westend-Who Knows Where!?!
June 15, 2009: My dad and I ,(Mikey), plan to leave our dock on June 22 in route to Ft.Lauderdale. On the 25th, Cathy and Sarah will drive to Ft.Lauderdale to join us on the crossing of the Gulf Stream. May 01, 2009: We safely arrived at Glocester Point, VA at 11 a.m. on the 19th of August. It was a great trip. 95 percent pleasent and 5% terror. The storms of the first 36 hours did not dampen our spirits and we look forward to many, many more cruises. » read more

Commissioning
Our new Hylas 49, "Its Only Money" is being Commissioned in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. Expect to take delivery between 8/6 and 8/16/2008. Getting very excited!
May 01, 2009: The mast was stepped on July 13. Looks great. Ground tackle being installed. The electronics/nav equipment should arrive in the next day or two and then the real mess begins with running all the wires, putting on all the antenna, etc. » read more

May 01, 2009: We woke up to another beautiful day today, calm and clear skies. Gerry went for a walk and found a 7-11 and got us each coffe, Donuts and Croissants – delicious! We waited until 8am to get a response from Deep Creek Lock, and were told teh bridge will only open at 9am. So here we sit and wait.
