Topic: More than one source for updates

 

I know I am able to update my trip data by sending info from my home address. However when I am on my boat my e-mail address will be from my Winlink address.

I have tried updating my blog from my winlink address but Tripsailor, I believe, does not accept it. I expect it is blocked because tripsailor does not recognize winlink as my legitimate address. How do I enable tripsailor to recognize two addresses as legitimate sources for update information?

Hi Don!

According to our logs we only received one email on August 3rd from your winlink account. That one was posted to your blog. We checked SPAM filters and logs and didn’t find another message.

You don’t need to legitimate another address. You can send updates from whatever email account you’d like as long as your secret @tripsailor.mobi address is correct.

Since it worked one time I would suggest to give it another try. Please re-check that your @tripsailor.mobi e-mail address is correct in your winlink program before. Maybe you can send the email to tripsailor@gmail.com as well. That way we can verify everything works correct with the winlink system.
