I’m 52 from the UK but now living in Malaysia and enjoying every day as it comes.
I retired at 50 as planed , I am looking for a catermaran that will suit me and upto now have narrowed it down to the mahe 36, because this will be big enough for me as only me and my son to cater for. also I have been following the adventures of Kev and Jo at http://mahe36.blogspot.com/
and was pleased at the way the mahe 36 handled itself.
But over here in asia boats are expensive so I may have to go over seas to get it and sail it back here to Malaysia.
(easier said than done as i’m still a virgin with regards to sailing.)

I was in the merchant navy for over ten years and loved every minuet of it.
But I will have to attend some sailing course from scratch which in its self wont be a bad thing as it will be fresh in my mind for when I do get the boat.
Looks so nice – wish i was with you all now. not found my cat yet but hopefully will get it within the next year and off to the big wide world. like you guys.thanks for letting us share in your wonderful adventures.
