1770 Agnes Water
August 13, 2008
We have had a couple of good days at 1770. The weather has been fine although a little cold. We spent most of yesterday splicing eyes into braided rope for our dinghy. Lots of sore fingers at the end of the day. Today we walked into Agnes Water, to do some shopping, a 12k round trip, so it’s sore feet tonight. The weather is still very calm and tomorrow we are leaving early on the tide to make a short run up the coast to Jenny Lind Creek. A shallow entrance with not much room inside, but a beaut spot to visit, we are told. We will arrive around 07:30 and with the calm weather , should be able to find our way in. We are looking forward to the adventure.

Hi Nackers & Dawn,
Looks nice up there. It snowed on the Dandenongs the other day & its still pritty cold now. We’re all down with colds at the moment, its just enough to make you feel like crap.
Good news on Liz’s family front with both her brother & sister expecting their first babies around Chrismas. It’ll be tough on Dave & Burnie having just moved over to Perth for 3 years!
Anyhow I’m receiving all your blog updates now so will keep in touch.
Catch u later
