Bahamas!!
December 09, 2008
We made it! An interesting Gulf Stream crossing; you read and hear about it, but you need to experience the amazing current strength to understand it! All went well (thanks to Captain Claudio) and we found an anchorage spot for the night until we made it hear to Spanish Cay to clear Customs. The weather is a little unsettled - might just make a short run to Treasure Cay.

Ahoy thar matey!! I bet you are getting tired of the sailor jokes. But for me it is my first so bear with me. So glad to see this. It was an update of Jades on facebook so I was fortunate enough to see it. We were at Milalrd’s for Grey Cup and Daneen and I were hoping to hear about you guys soon. Love the pictures. Sure hope the weather becomes great for you soon. Ciou

I am so jealous. We are deep in the snow now and expecting -20s on the weekend.
Happy to hear you are there and everything is going well. I can’t imagine what an amazing experience it must be.
Take care and stay safe.
