BVI Fall 2008
WooHoo! or Wahoo?
October 10, 2008
Our trip is over but we still wake up at night and feel the ‘rocking boat’- Hope it lasts for weeks. I’ve had a recurring dream that we are lying against the walls of the pontoon and waiting for more wind – a pleasant thought for sure.
The ten days weren’t long enough. I find my mind drifting back to the dark star lit nights of the new moon and the awesome image of the Milky Way strewn from horizon to horizon – commonplace for sailors but a marvel to those of us from the light polluted parts of the globe.
Like this thoroughly scraped Potter’s By the Sea potato, we squeezed every second of fun out of this trip. I hope you enjoyed reliving it with us!
To all you readers and especially would be cruisers living out your dreams through this blog I say only one thing – Just Do It! If you’ll pay for the boat, I’ll fly down and drive it where ever you want to go – any time!
Fair Winds and Clear skies!!

Seems you made it back just in time, Hurricane Omar hit the BVI last night, winds over 100mph, so a week later and you would have seen some real weather.
