Day Four Gloucester

July 12, 2008

Solemates Left Scituate at 7:30 this morning to head to Gloucester. The wind was 4 to 5 knots, so we motorsailed the 28 nm to Gloucester.

We were unable to view our sons live debut on local TV as the represetative for the EPA in regards to the  large tanker truck that was on fire on Route 128. We were able to catch the rerun on the 10:00PM News.

Sandra and I walked about a mile to Rocky Neck Art Colony. It is one of the oldest group of galleries and studios in the US.

Chip and Jan can on board Solemates around 3:00 and then we all returned to their home for a great meal cooked by Chip.

There are 8 Catalinas at this end of the Annisquam River. We plan on going up the river to meet with the other Catalinas tomorrow morning around 7:00 AM to start the trip to Maine.
