Sole Mates III sails to Maine
Day Three Layover in Scituate
July 11, 2008
Today was a cleaning and resting day. Tomorrow, off to Gloucester around 26 nautical miles. We will be hosting Chip and Jan for the first time aboard Solemates III. We are looking forward to it. At least today on the map we did not go over any land masses- haha.
Sandy cleaned the hull and stainless and removed all of those red marks from those nasty flies and bees. We also purchased a flyswatter (a bit smaller than the one from TEXAS!!)
The Carnival is in town. We did a load of laundry and watched the carnies perform a great show (when they could stand on their own feet….)
Met one of the couples that will be leaving at 9 tommorow for Gloucester, but we plan on an eariler start to be able to spend more time with Chip and Jan.
Today’s pictures are of the sun setting over this harbor. This owning a cottage on the ocean with changing views daily is spectacular !!
