Threatening weather

Emerald seas White cliffs of Dover

Left Ramsgate around 09:00.  Wind not in our favour – will be on the nose nearly the whole way.  Initially planning on staying overnight in Eastbourne, but with weather forecast suggesting threatening weather decided to keep going to Brighton – a much better place to stay for the weekend.

Saw upto 10 dolphins either side of Dungeoness.  Magic.

Arrived in Brighton at 22:15 – after mooring up went to the yacht club to catch up with friends.

Slow down – At this rate you’ll be in Wales by next weekend, then it’ll be time to turn round and come home!
