Finally there’s an opportunity to move on.  Left Padstow at 07:30 – heading for the Isles of Scilly.  Pretty bumpy ride – I was sick in the morning and Gen in the afternoon.   The seas were moderate but we had the tide / swell pushing us so lot’s of figures of 8.

This was our longest leg – arrived in Tresco after 22:30.  Difficulty picking up the bouy – pick up lines not visable and very short especially for a boat with the height of the deck.

Not quite a night passage but pretty scary coming in when you don’t know the height of the rocks or how far away – no moonlight to help us.   Gen was guiding us in from below deck and all I could see is silloettes of very large rocks.  Anyway arrived safely.
