We stayed at St. Johnsville one night and Schenectady one night.  Stopped and saw the Herkimer house.  He was a revolutionary war hero and left a great house by the canal.  Very interesting to see!  Here are some other websites that show what this part of the canal looks like.  Our next stop will be to put the mast back up so that we will be a sailboat once more.
