After a great night’s sleep in Brewerton, we woke early again and it was so foggy that we couldn’t see across the canal!  We had to wait until 8:30 to leave and for us that is the middle of the day.  Crossing the lake was fairly easy but it did take the fog a while to lift.  Dave had to blow his moose horn once or twice but then I think he just likes doing that.

The real Erie Canal starts after we cross the lake with 23 locks!!!!  Man thank goodness we are going down most of the time.
