One night was all we needed at Newburgh.  We left early the next morning and headed for Haverstraw.  We didn’t motor much and tried to sail most of the way but the wind didn’t cooperate much and we finally had to turn on the engine.  We headed for an anchorage spot over in Half Moon Bay and put up for the night.   It was very peaceful as the previous night we had a band at one of the restaurants in Newburgh.  Thankfully, they stopped playing at 10.  We motored the dingy into the small town on Half Moon Bay and bought some groceries.  That was fun to ride in the dingy across the bay.  If you click on this website you will see some condos that we "camped" in front of out in the Bay for the night.  Nice area right across from the Haverstraw Marina.
