Our trip will begin after the Miami 2009 boat show where RENOVATIO, a new Passport 615 TC (hull #2) will be displayed. Our plan is to spend several years sailing and fulfilling our dream of seeing the world.

We received some photos of some of the work going on for Renovatio. No change in the estimate of her arrival in Ft. Lauderdale. We are still hoping for shipment before the end of the year.
Passport Vista 615 TC
June 06, 2008
These are some diagrams of the Passport 615 TC. The boat was designed by Bill Dixon of Dixon Yacht Design (www.dixonyachtdesign.com). The specifics of the boat can be viewed at Wagner Stevens’s web site (www.wagnerstevens.com).
We have made some changes to the design but not too far off Bill Dixon’s. We will be adding a Scuba compressor and area for dive tanks that will be housed in the aft lazerette. We are adding a water maker, washer & dryer, ice maker, dishwasher and Mary’s favorite, an automatic coffee maker plumed to the water supply that has a built in grinder. You have to love the Italians. They make the only compact one we were able to fit above the counter in the galley. Thanks to some recommendations from Sight & Sound Solutions in Emerald Isle, NC , we also are adding a Media Server that we are able to store hundreds of movies and as many music CD’s.
We still have time to make some changes but they would not be major. I’ll be heading back to Xiamen later this year for a final visit to the factory.
A day in St. Augustine
June 05, 2008
One of our many training days off shore in St. Augustine, FL. Michael loves the ocean and waves. His favorite thing to do is look for Dolphins and Sea Turtles. He also loves it when the boat splashes into the waves and throws salt water in his face. He calls it "yummy water". He was also lucky enough to see the space shuttle (from a great distance as you can see) launch. We had visited the space center a couple weeks ago and he even called it the "rocket space shuttle" when he saw it on it’s way to the space station.
Xiamem
June 04, 2008
This is where our Passport 615 TC boat is being built. We visited the site late spring 07 via Hong Kong. We enjoyed 7 days in Hong Kong and the surrounding area and 3 days in Xiamen. We were very impressed with the facility and the quality of work they are doing. This facility is also where Outbound Yachts and others are being built.
