Parry's Sail To the Baltic

Moving swiftly on...Enkhuizen

Slipped the lines at 9.15 and headed out after fuelling up (and emptying the tanks!!! yuck!) at the fuel stop. Had another great sail to Enkhuizen our mission being to visit the Zuiderzee Museum which is an outdoor affair with original houses from the region being preserved here. There was a fishing village including houses from Marken, they had fish smoke houses and then an urban village. Very impressive well worth the visit! Hollie made a clog sailing boat and a traditional skipping rope..much better than than modern nylon stuff!

The cycled aroound the town and soaked up the atmosphere before retiring back to the boat in the marina (not used to these anymore!) for a quiet night in.
