Actually I always dreamed to sail far away with a small sailboat, unless, 24 years old, I had been cought in the shower of a passengership in the Chineese Sea with a broken window and the door locked, while a tyfoon was around us. This was the moment when I said no boy if you come out of this mess forget about sailng . After I had learned that you can avoid strorms like tyfoons or hurricans and had crossed the Atlantic with friends , I knew this is what will do in the future. So I bought a cheap 40ft sailboat when I was 43 and set sail. Now I am 66 and still I love sailing.

Sailing Experience

To be honest I tend to say always the last trip was the best one, especially as I am now at an age where you have to be glad for every day you are healthy and fit. I think if you live your life listening to your inner voice you have the keys in your hand.
