About Me

I am a marine biologist turned project administrator living a half mile from the Gulf of Mexico at the very tip of Texas. Currently I am outfitting a vintage Westerly Centaur Ketch (fully restored and upgraded) for coastal cruising, and planning an escape further (much further) south….

Sailing Experience

I sail as often as possible, cruise the coast whenever possible. I am a former commercial fisherman, having worked in the Gulf of Alaska and Bering Sea. I am also a former US Coastguardsman. By convention, I keep most of my blogs at:http://www.yotblog.com/WesterlyC/,

but will try and duplicate those strictly dealing with being underway here….But by all means check out Olivias site, there’s lots of madness and flavor from here at latitude 26.
