I’m a driven entrepreneur and enjoy working. Sailing is my meditation and helps me to put things into perspective. My boat is called Wairua, which is Maori for ‘spirit’ of ‘live force’. This is exactly what I get from sailing her.

Sailing Experience

I have been sailing sinds my 12th. I started out in an old, wooden and leaking Finn. A mean little thing but the sailing was sooo cool! Sailed a number of different dinghies after that and then moved on to somewhat larger yachts.

Then other activities and hardly any sailing for quite a few years, until the love was found again in 2001 when I purchased a Contest 27. In 2005 I was lucky to find my current boat, a 1970 Najade 900, a Jenneskens design. The perfect boat!
