Hi,Always good to hear your update. Last weekend was our Pleasant Harbor Rendezvous. Larry & Barbara were great hosts! Jay, MaryAnn, Bob, Gloria, Jim & I all camped at their house. The picnic went well & we got to go crabbing on Larry & Bob’s boats. Doug sailed/motored alone from PT down. The guys went about 10 mi. north on Friday night to tow him in after unsuccessful engine repairs onboard. It was after 9 pm. so we felt a “rescue” was in order! He got things repaired to return on Sunday. On 7/25 Jim & I raced on Pegasus XIV with Dan, Linda, Marilyn, & 3 other guys. We think we corrected to first! After lots of work, Dan had just put his boat in the water at 10 am the same morning as the race. Jim is trying to eek out time to work on our “Sand Dollar”.Love,Natalie & Jim

Hi,Just had the D16 weekend! Jim & I went for two nights in our RV. Bob, Gloria, MaryAnn, Jay, Linda, Dan, Marilyn, & Klaus all stopped by. M & K also stayed for dinner. It was in the 90’s these past 4 days! Summer finally arrived, but will probably not last too long. Pleasant Harbor is coming up in 2 weeks. Do you get to read these messages or am I responding in the wrong place???Enjoy!Natalie & Jim

Hi,Just had our weekend event in Mystery Bay. Boats rafting up were Jay & MaryAnn; Steve T.; Doug, Beth, Cassie & friend Emma; Natalie & Jim. Had a mild wind free raft-up! Jeff. Co. Fire Dept. supplied the “victim” for the Sat. MOB practice. 18 people total attended & we had BYO picnic at the tables in Mystery Bay St. Park. Ken did 2 VSE & Bob did 3! Perfect weather! Jim & I spent a 2nd night anchored out there before our sail back to PT on Sunday. Don’t know if you heard but Ken spent 10 in the PT hospital with a perforated upper bowel (the reason for his pains)! He’s doing much better now. Enjoying your log of your journey. Safe winds to you.Love, Natalie

Hi you two! We just arrived back in Port Townsend tonight, June 16th. Haven’t had much access to a computer during our almost 4 week stay in Chico, CA. Tomorrow night is the meeting, so we will tell everyone you say hi.Apparently Ken Shaver was in the hospital recently for 10 days with a perforated colon. He is doing much better & is home now.We got James graduated & Erica moved back to our Chico house. Jim removed wallpaper & did a bunch of painting. He had a birthday & we also went to a 40th wedding anniversary celebration, so we have been busy. Take care & happy sailing!!Love ya!Natalie & Jim
