Started on inland lakes of Canada with no desire to sail offshore. Did some coastal cruising on Canada’s west coast in the early 80’s and the ran away to the Caribbean in 2003 been cruise working eversince

Wow. I envy you…..We were a bit swet back in the quest to go further south, but hope to make it to Rio Dulce this summer, and leave a boat there for “commutesailing” until the present situation allows greater time “down south”....until then we’ll keep sailing vicariously in all of the places we’d like to be…thanks to sailing blogs like yours!
